Text level – fantasy worlds, poems, recounts of observations, visits and events.

Sentence level – use capital letters and full stops

Word level – long vowel sounds. Identify and break up words into small units of sound.

Reading – use all reading cues.

Handwriting – use clear ascenders and descenders in cursive handwriting.

Say the number which is 1 or 10 more or less than a given number to 30.

Know number facts - addition and subtraction - of pairs of numbers within the range 0 to 10.

Choose and use the appropriate number operation and mental strategy to solve problems.

Habitats – Plants and animals in the local environment.
